I mean... if you love art and are visiting Amsterdam, it's a must. Great paintings that are of it's time, but are replicas. Little educational classes that were historically interesting. The home itself is a historical treasure. And the tour guide gives you some very interesting history details.

A really interesting journey through Rembrandt. Some beautiful art on show and insight into his life and classes. Make sure you go to the etching printing and paint making shows. Rembrandt took etching very seriously and didn't out source it, it was fascinating to learn about.

The Rembrandt house museum is highly attractive because it is the actual house where the master worked from 1639 at the height of his success - and restored to what it must have looked like in those days - based a.o. on historical drawings. Etch printing and paint preparation demonstrations are given continuously (in a slow pace, plan some time for this). A modern day building has been erected quite cleverly next to it to improve the people flow and create more exhibition space.

Very detailed exhibitions describing Rembrandt's life and work. Surprised me with interesting trivia about his life. Expect at least 90 minutes to 2 hours to walk though all the exhibits and shows.

The Rembrandt House museum peaceful environment to go through he's daily life and see how and where he created his magnificent art. The lighting of this museum can be improved, especially noticing that lighting was one of the most important points of his work. overall this is a great experience and I definitely suggest it to art lovers who visit Amsterdam.
