Lekker, I really liked this Dutch experience and I think is a excellent price-quality relation. The service, time of service, mood and humor is good. Nice atmosphere. Real Dutch experience and really good food.

Fabulous food. My wife and I enjoyed every part of the 3 course meal that we had. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Fantastic place and great authentic steak! The staff was both helpful and hilarious. A true Dutch culinary experience! My new favourite restaurant in Amsterdam!

Apparently it's a family-owned place that has been around for years and sticks very much to traditional dishes; meat-lovers in Amsterdam ought to seek this place out. I'd eaten here before, sharing a table with other diners as they were pretty full (they're quite popular - a reservation is advised) and had a pork with pepper sauce which turned out to be pretty tasty. They also have a range of good strong beers, wifi and took credit card, so that was my evening sorted! I returned with a friend on another night when we had steaks - beef for me, horse for him. Both dishes came with a bowl of chips plus a side salad (and mayo, being Dutch). The steaks were cooked well, sitting in their own juices and quite tasty (but small for the price). Both of us enjoyed the meal - they're known for their cooking there - and I've returned a few times since. Definitely for meat-lovers; you're assured a good meal there.

They have amazing horse tenderloin and fried mussel.. I also recommend to try the soup of the day.
