Right behind the famous Heineken brewery, on the corner of Marie Heinekenplein and Ferdinand Bolsstraat, you will find O'Donnell's. An authentic Irish pub with an unmistakably Dutch touch. For the tastiest glass of Guinness in De Pijp you have to come to us. The extremely spacious and recently renovated pub, which covers an area of ??more than 200 square meters, is the ideal place to watch the best football and rugby matches from the (inter) national competitions. You can of course watch sports while enjoying a good glass of Guinness or one of the other 12 beers on tap, but you can also choose a good whiskey with us. At O'Donnell's you can choose from about 30 different types. We also have a separate room with a pool table. Non-sports enthusiasts are of course also very welcome. The doors and terrace are open from 9:30 am and you can enjoy a cup of quality coffee and a full (English) breakfast. In addition, the afternoon and evening menu also offers a wide range of food. From real Irish dishes like the Shepherd's Pie to our delicious Hereford Beef Burger. The Marie Heinekenplein is a popular nightlife location and is surrounded by a number of other pubs. Our pub is therefore characterized by a wide variety of customers. Young, old, Dutch and international; it is that very melting pot of people that makes O'Donnell's so unique. Food was good and atmosphere is great during the day. Feels like a very different place at night. Went twice and the second time they charged us for wings that were never delivered, even after us asking if we would be charged for wings that we never got. 8 Euro down the drain. Otherwise, nice place to visit during a stay in Amsterdam.

Great pub with great staff. Really nice atmosphere inside with a traditional pub feeling. The only problem I encountered whilst here is the lack of an option to split the bill in 2019. No one carries cash anymore and having to split a bill between a large group can be difficult. Luckily after some persistence with the staff and as our bill was over €200 we was able to organise a split bill, but it's worth mentioning.

We enjoyed breakfast here on a very cold morning and the service was heartwarming while our meals were superb. Friendly staff with traditional options for breakfast, similar to what we have in South Africa. I'm going back for the Apple pie :)

Fantastic spot to chill, watch a game and chat to some folks. The bar tender was very friendly as well the rest of the folks. Great vibes.

Delicious food - I particularly recommend the bangers and mash! The service was great, just the right combination of attentive and relaxed.
