We stayed here for four nights an had a great time! This hotel has an eclectic design that feels very hip and trendy. Staff is very helpful in accommodating all your needs, include arranging various activities that they endorse. We did the canal small boat tour with Capt Storm and really enjoyed it more than one of those big canal boat tours. The included cold breakfast was complete enough to satisfy us, with a good selection of meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, eggs, bread, cereal, juices, coffees, and more. Our deluxe room was good-sized. Bed was big and comfy. Every day, the room was impeccably cleaned. The only downside to this place is that there's no elevator, so if you've got big luggage and are on a high floor then get ready for some exercise! I'd gladly recommend this hotel, and would stay here again.

I sent my parents on holiday here and they, not being in the flush of youth, really liked the hotel and the staff but there were too many steps for their liking. The access to the hotel was a little difficult for them. However, area around the hotel is excellent and very convenient for the canal and bus tours as well as the railway station.

Just returned from a two night stay in this hotel and would highly recommend. Lovely, friendly staff, cozy and welcoming bar and really comfortable room plus, excellent continental breakfast - I am now addicted to 'sugar' bread

Comfortable beds, nice atmosphere & ambience, renovated rooms. Walls a little thin but the building is 300 years old. The bar is the reception desk. Staff are great. One of the only reasonably priced hotels with breakfast included. Location was 7 min. Walk from the train station. Right in the Jordan district so lots of shops & restaurants walking distance. Boat rides are also offered to hotel guests only. €17.90 + 1 drink to bring on board. Very nice ride. We went past the zoo and places where the big boats can't go. Captain Storm gives a very good commentary on the history of the canals.
