In my view, this is one unique restaurant, I say this from my well travelled experience of 70+ countries. If you want to experience authentic home cooked Indian food, this is the place to be. The restaurant is run by an Indian family who do this business out of their passion to serve quality & tasty food. When I am in Amsterdam and crave for Indian food, this is my only choice. If you go there, give my regards to the owners and mention to them about my review as they will appreciate. Super kind people.

One of the best Indian restaurants in Europe. The atmosphere was really quiet especially after the madness in the streets of Amsterdam. The food was really tasty and the prices were also cheap. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who visits Amsterdam. It's next to a tram station.

Spent a great evening at Murugan. By far the best Indian good I’ve ever had. The rich taste of the curries the different flavours and the soft ambience were a treat. There were many guests out there but everyone seemed to get much attention without the staff hasting to another table.

The food here was great. Tasted authentic and fresh. Not the widest choice of dishes but cooked well. It was a bit quiet the night we went in so the atmosphere was a bit flat, and the decor looked tired.

Authentic family run restaurant. We got there by chance, and it turned out to be great experience. Food was tasty, well presented, excellent service. I highly recommend it.
