Hotel The Exchange is an independent fashion hotel in the centre of Amsterdam, that playfully weaves together fashion and architecture in unique rooms ranging from 1 to 5 stars. All 61 rooms are 'dressed like models on the runway' by young fashion designers from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute (AMFI).

Great hotel for a couple of days. Right in the center of the city. Great for tourists. Has small rooms (even the biggest room is small) , but they make the best of it with the fancy interieur. We didn't have breakfast there, because all you need is close (Starbucks etc) in the street. Not easy to spot from the street because it has a narrow entrance.

Rooms are super small for what I paid. I paid 400$ for 2 nights and the room has just enough space for a bed. I arrived early and It took them 3 hrs to set up and clean my room.Don’t think I will ever come back here again.

Basic hotel but clean and friendly staff. Great location. It's not for the traveler that wants to spend time at the hotel but perfect for those who only want a place to sleep, shower and refresh but won't spend much time in the room as the rooms are quite small.

Such a disappointment:( This time i decided to stop by at this place to grab a breakfast. There was no real food but pastries, sandwiches from a plastic containers. The service was not good as well although there was no one else but me. The hotel itself is interesting. I stayed there 2 years ago and i enjoyed it. But that was time when they served good breakfast.

Great location and comfortable nice rooms; however, the rooms are a bit smaller than what some people may be used to. Each room has a theme and some are more risque' than others. It is within a few blocks of Amsterdam Central and is ideally located , within a few kilometers, for walking to most any major attractions, museums, etc.
