Centrally located hotel within walking distance of Amsterdam Central Station. The staff are so friendly and helpful and have a welcome smile each time I visit. They remember me from precious visits which is very warming when visiting a hotel. The room is on the small side but perfectly clean and tidy. Breakfast is included in the price and is very nice although I would like some cereal.

Awesome location, cool views and excellent atmosphere. Stairs are crazily step and the decor a bit dated but that that is the charm of the place. Absolutely loved it, will come back again

My friends were staying in this hotel because i couldnt host them myself. However they were really happy. The location is very central and all worth seeing attractions are on walking distance. The building itself is very interesting.

Not too bad a hotel, not great, but definitely not bad. Some of the steepest stairs iv came across from all hotels i'v stayed in in Amsterdam. Rooms are very small with access to bathrooms restricted. Breakfast wasn't up to much, all they had was basically some rolls, slices of cheese & yogurt as well as Tea & coffee.. Our flight home was cancelled & we enquired about staying in the hotel again but the price they quoted for an extra night was more expensive than what we paid for the orginial 2 night stay clearly the hotel was trying to cash in so we decided to find alternative accommodation.

The hotel is historic, with the most ridiculous, narrow staircase you might ever see. That's part of the charm though, because everything looks original, maybe like 500 years ago. Small rooms, with a bathroom en suite, coffee machine, fan, safe, etc. Awesome breakfast included. It's noisy (city noise), old, and beautiful, depending on what you're into. Friendly service too. Great location.
