Nicer than I thought it would be. Staff are helpful and for a budget hotel it meets expectations. Cleaners came everyday and left ample towels. I was on the fourth floor and there is no lift. I counted 70 steps and this became a bit of a pain over the three days stay. I would have given full marks had there been food and a lift but it is a budget hotel and is good for what it is.

This is a great hotel if you enjoy dirty rooms, stinky bathrooms and rude staff. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in months, the windows were broken, electrical sockets dodgy and you left the shower feeling dirtier than when you went in. Avoid at all costs. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

In all honesty this won't be the place for everyone . But if your on a budget and just looking for a base and to get your head down it's perfect . Long thin steep staircase awaits your arrival just to get to reception but most staircases are like this in Amsterdam in the older properties . It's very central which makes everywhere pretty easy to get to within walking distance . If your gonna complain about anything and everything in a hotel room then this isn't for you. But overall you get what u pay for

Stayed here from 30th January 2 February and can't fault anything room's we're great cleaned every day with fresh towels showers were great heating was perfect the staff were great older dude with grey beard and girl that was on the desk during the day were a pleasure to talk with keep up the good work guys when I'm bk I will be booking with yous

Very small rooms. Only one person can go up or down the stairs at a time so pack light. But it's in walking distance from dam square and the service was nice. Would recommend this place again. Pack light!
