Amazing location, exactly in the heart of the city. Nice and comfortable rooms, very polite people. I will visit there again

This is a lovely little hotel, right in the middle of the city, not 20 steps from dam square, right on the border of the red light district. Great place to be if you want to be right in Amsterdam's drinking scene. The hotel is a very unassuming blink and you'll miss it door, which I like, because it's like you can vanish into the crowd. However if you are staying on the upper floors, make sure you are completely able bodied because the one unavoidable thing is the stairs. They are tall, extremely narrow, and there are a lot of them. We were right at the top and had to go up 5 floors including the ground to get to our room, up stairs that are more like a ladder in places, very narrow. Someone not able bodied could trip and fall very easily. But that doesn't detract from the quality of the hotel, they cant help that, it's a side effect of the old tall dutch buildings. It's a brilliant place to crash if you want to be central, and is high enough above the streets on the upper floor that noise isnt a real issue.

Great location. Just next to metro and tram lines. Clean rooms with 100% working shower (I have tested few other hotels in Amsterdam so trust me) Ear plugs needed if your room is at Damstraat street side, but this is same in many other hotel as well.

Small hotel but with really modern rooms. It's really near to the city centre, in just 2 minutes you can go to the red lights area.
