Located in the heart of Amsterdam, Hostel Cosmos is only a 5-minute walk from Museum square. We are a small friendly youth hostel with a cozy atmosphere and generous hospitality. We offer mixed and female only dorms, our rooms are basic in style, however you get everything what you need for a short city break. Clean and comfy bed, hot shower, kitchenette with fridge and microwave, and a small lounge area where good company is always guaranteed. Not to mention Simba, our house cat who always makes sure to welcome our guests.

Best hostel...CLEAN, very good location amazing staff, what else you expect??? Oooh also very good prices for the accomodation

I was robbed something I left in reception for "safety"; the staff sleeps at night and some will be nasty to you for waking them up to ask for help; you can't access or leave the building comfortably because the narrow stairs are straight after the door so you have to crush yourself to get in or out (dangerous in case of evacuation); I was charged twice for a ticket because the staff didn't know how to do it. I was refunded for the extra one but I had to pay for the international comission twice; the room was ridiculously tiny and the beds uncomfortable; we had 1 portable 2-step stool to get to the bunker beds, which was so small you had to actually climb with nowhere to hold; we weren't left enough toilet roll for 6 people and run out half day through every day; I complained twice and my emails were ignored.

Pros- A great option to stay in Amsterdam. It's at the prime neighborhood, really close to Dam and almost all the attractions. Cons- They don't serve breakfast and there's only one Washroom at every floor.

Great location, great price and perfect for my backpacking trip to Amsterdam. Very clean as well. The room was quite tiny but I didn’t spend any time in it except to sleep so it worked out just fine.
