Hotel Ben - Amsterdam    Share

A very well located and cheap hotel directly in the centre of Amsterdam. I'm writing this review with the fact in mind, that this is a one-star hotel. Based on this, the rooms were well equipped with cozy beds, usb chargers, a small TV, a little wardrobe and a bathroom with a private shower. The staff was friendly and helpful, the price more than reasonable considering the sheer incredible location. There is even a 24-hour reception with vending machines for snacks and drinks.

I understand this is a budget hotel, however there is no tv in the room, u have to walk 6 step stair cases if your given the attic room, the bars up the windows are awful. The bed was not big enough and did not feel clean. The only part that made staying here bearable was the fact I could smoke inside.

I was skeptical on this place after reading some reviews.. however, my family and I had a much better experience! The location is amazing, you can walk everywhere! For being so close to the red light district it was very quiet and clean. The room was small for three people but it’s all you need. The bathroom was CRAZY clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating (helping me lug my 50lb suitcase up three flights of stairs). Also, they have a beautiful office cat named Cotton who hangs around and is just the sweetest fluff ever! Highly recommend!

Stayed in a room shared with 5 others beds were very warm and comfy bathroom although compact was perfectly functional and the shower was absolutely boiling. Ideal location within walking distance of red-light District and the grey area would definitely stay again and the staff couldn't of done more to help us whenever and whatever we asked of him great place

Very central location. Relatively cheap. Super tiny building and rooms. Beware of the stairs. Not a place for the old or injured.
