Eagle is the oldest and most famous dance club, very cruisy and strictly men only. Sited at Warmoestraat 90, in the Castro of Amsterdam, Eagle Amsterdam is the most visited men’s bar in town and the most famous gay venue of Amsterdam. There was a major renovation in the last 2 years and darkroom, bar area and lounge are were renovated. The Eagle attracts all types of gays. Men love to come to this place because of the fun options it provides. There is no dress code on regular nights. Check out also our favorite Sunday Afternoon parties. The location consists of three floors: the bar and dance floor is on the ground floor, on the second floor there is a communal lounge area to sit and chat with friends. Darkroom in the basement allow you to have paramount enjoyment. Equipped with dance floor with live DJ’s in the weekend, alongside amazing light and laser lights for the circuit boys. A great venue to spend your time. Because of a very cosy space thanks to the layout with three floors, with the bar centered on door-level, nicely designed. There is even a wall full covered with mirror. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed. There is a nice staff too!!!

My iphone was stolen here today (3rd-Nov-19) and I realised that in less than 10 minutes after loosing my phone. I immediately contacted the bar tender and explained my situation and asked for a phone to contact the police, he said he cannot help me and did not offer any support. I also requested a patron to call police but they did not care and ignored my plea. THERE IS NO COAT-CHECK. What a ruthless bar, bartender and the patrons!

I checked in my jacket AND my backpack with the coat check and had 6 individual bags with a gram of marijuana, in each missing. The only one remaining is hash. I will be back to confront the man who checked my belongings, other than that, this place was not impressive.
