De School opened in January of 2016 on Doctor Jan van Breemenstraat in Amsterdam's west. The venue, which used to be a technical school, is more than a nightclub: it's also has a concert venue, a restaurant, a café, an exhibition space and a gym. It has a 24-hour license and is open seven days a week. The nightclub has a capacity of 700 and is located in the school's former bicycle storage area. The club's programming focuses on local DJs, who are given the opportunity to play extended sets, but international guests also regularly stop by. In addition to the club, De School hosts concerts in a 200-capacity former workshop. Its secluded outdoor courtyard is open all year round to members of the public, not just club-goers. De School is owned and run by Post CS BV—the same crew that ran Amsterdam nightclubs Trouw and Club 11. European, Healthy, French, International. Approx cost for two people Rs 2,100

First time on NYE party Standing at the door-sale entrance for 3 and half hours in a super cold weather, was it worthy? Definitely it was one of the best experience in a club. Friendly door staff , Quality techno music Best DJ players and positive atmosphere . Can’t wait to be back again with my online ticket so no more time to waste just Dance.

Amazing underground night club, dark, mysterious, hazy and cool. We went for a great line up curated by Call Super and had a blast from midnight till the morning. Two rooms (a smaller one upstairs, a bigger one downstairs) both with great PA systems, two different chill out rooms (both upstairs), two bars (one upstairs, one downstairs), a general very positive vibe: no harassers, everyone pretty high but positive and non abusive. Absolutely recommended if you're into good electronic music and like dancing with the right attitude.

This review is for the restaurant in De School (please note that they also operate a cafe with a more simple menu). Had dinner here with a group of 16 and had a very good experience. Staff: very friendly and helpful, offering good advice for example while going through the (extensive!) wine list. Food: we had a 5 dish menu, almost all of which were terrific (the one exception being a bit bland in my opinion). Original, tasteful and presented with style. Drinks: very extensive wine list as noted, several beers on tap. (Did not have a look at the rest of the drink menu). Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Great place to let loose. A dedicated crowd of regulars as well as people interested in quality electronic scene gather here. No photos policy and a huge amount of finely spread fog on the dance floor makes this place a great place to get lost. The drinks are very reasonably priced, there are plenty breathing room areas with expositions and the venue is overall very very safe and friendly.

Absolutely loved it, went in two nights in a row. The staff was great and the experience was unforgettable. Be decent at the door, small groups, smile, keep eye contact, have a normal conversation with the bouncer he'll probably let you in. Don't be loud at the queue. The experience is a must! Can't wait to be back
