We visited this brown bar in 2014 and we're so we'll well looked after I got the proprietor's business card so I could write a review. Fast forward to 2020 and I saw the business card under a magnet on my fridge and was like "oops still haven't done it". So here's the review. Don't judge a book by its it's cover, this quaint little place is serious about its beer, we sampled a few :)

Not a tourist trap and authentic local snacks and beer. I can't be wrong with this place if you want to grab a beer. Meatballs good, but bit too salty and liver sausage outstanding with best pickled cucumber.

Lovely little brown bar. Good service, friendly welcome, we were the only tourists inside, which meant a nice hubbub of Dutch. Highly recommend

Best bar without a bar I have been to. Wonderful staff so friendly and engaging. Great beers wines and the most spellbinding atmosphere.

Cosy wee bar, friendly atmosphere, good choice of beer and felt very well looked after!
