The Dappermarkt is a market on Dapperstraat in Amsterdam-east and is one of the busiest markets of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 1910, the Dapperstraat was officially designated by the municipality of Amsterdam as a market street. The Dappermarkt draws visitors from the all over the Netherlands.

Lovely market to stroll through on a chilly or summery day. You're able to find lots of brick-a-brack here (the things you need but oft don't think about), as well as some useful items. Pleasant and family-oriented atmosphere. The smell of cheese, fish, roasted almonds, fresh fruit, and more really makes the market enjoyable.

Great local market. You'll find anything from vegetables and fruit to snacks, flowers, clothes and more. Not touristy.

Everything you need at great prices! We go at least once a week to buy essentials, fabric, snacks, and foods. They have great clothing and electronics too

Sweet little street market, like a smaller more local-oriented version of the nearby Albert Cuyp Market. Probably best enjoyed in summer if you're a tourist, but great everyday-shopping spot for the locale and the students from the nearby AUC
