Through the windows of the centrally located eatery ‘ De Pont’ you can overlook the banks of the IJ towards the Central Station. The window tables have a unique view over the water and the ferry that docks every couple of minutes. In our café there is a choice between the breakfast, lunch and the cafémenu. Or simply enjoying a drink and a small bite. An ideal place to rendez-vous in the center of Amsterdam. Working with seasonal and regional products in our menu is important to us. Our preference goes out to organic products. These products come from among others; the farms of Lindenhoff, Jan van As and Vanilla Venture.Dutch, Bar, Cafe, European, International. Approx cost for two people Rs 600

Very pleasant classical Café and Restaurant in a very strategic location - precisely at the landing point of the ferry from Central Station (Indeed, De Pont in Dutch means The Ferry). Despite this location, prices are normal and the food quality is fairly high. They have a corner of the establishment called “The Kiosk” which is usable for corporate events like farewell drinks.

This is a cosy cafe-restaurant, just on the other side of the Central Station. You can take a FREE ferry to cross over and have a delicious bite of something, as breakfast, lunch or dinner. They offer seasonal and regional products, that are mostly organic. A really nice spot to enjoy the view while having a quality food. All window tables have a unique view over the water and the ferry that docks every couple of minutes. During the summertime, the terraces-on both sides of the building- overlook the IJ will be packed.

Nice and cosy cafe-restaurant at an excellent location. It's just a few minutes away from Central Station with the free of charge ferry. You can go there pretty much throughout all day and their offerings vary accordingly. Their pomodori soup was excellent with equally tasty bread!
