For more than 15 years, local talent and far away guests have come together at the Bourbon Street Blues Café to play jazz, blues, soul and funk, or just to take part in the happy music-loving and beer-drinking crowd. The atmosphere is nothing but friendly, drinks are cheap and music is all around. Like in the Mardi-Gras streets of New Orleans, the party at Bourbon Street goes on pretty much until you decide to leave. Gates open at 10pm every night and never close before 4am. Blues Clubs & Bars, Jazz Clubs & Bars, Dance Clubs & Discos. Approx cost for two people Rs 1,500.

Excellent venue and phenomenal musicians. I went there Christmas Eve to see Lamar Chase and it was a brilliant show. Last night was my first time going to Bourbon Bar and it definitely won't be my last. Just a head up for anyone planning on going, the entrance fee was €3 and drinks were from €9.50 for a Malibu with pineapple juice. It's a great intimate venue with lots of dancing

Nice vibes and cool music with different styles and lots of variety. Fun place for a night out, and not too expensive, considering it's right in the heart of the city. Every cocktail is served perfectly and there are plenty to choose from their list.

Great music and atmosphere. The place is always packed and you're likely to spill your drink if you try and move more than 5ft when the music is playing! Would love to visit again.

This was an excellent bar with a great live band on a Tuesday. Reasonably priced drinks and a big dance floor. Good vibe

A real gem of a place, live music every night but usually similar style of either jazz/funk/reggae/blues or some combo of those. Amazing musicians though. Atmospheric 1920s faded chic which I love... can be too busy for comfort on Weekends... Sunday nights my fave. Feels really special when the vibe is right. V expensive for spirit mixers ( 11euros for rum n coke ).
