Excellent place to stay in Amsterdam. Very great and helpful front desk staff. Nice clean rooms.. set in a vintage building. Will consider staying here if I visit Amsterdam again

The hotel was under construction. The smell of sewage was everywhere. Our room looked dirty and was in a worst state than a motel. There was no disclaimer of this construction work online when booking. The pictures looked nothing like the hotel in person, such false advertising. The hotel claims to be 3star but my experience was definitely not. They should not be charging that price for that experience... discount is NEEDED for guests who have to deal with that, or just close down until renovations are complete. Will not be going back.

Worst hotel experience in a while. The room was dirty just as where the hallways. There was garbage like used tissues and dirty cotton swaps on the floor. The walls were breaking apart. It was freezing cold in the rooms and when we asked for a room change they made up a lot of excuses so it would be impossible for us to do it. Just don’t waste your money here.

Very friendly and welcoming staff! Advised us well about transfers (informed us of cheaper and easier alternatives). Room wasn’t very well decorated (paper chipped in some places) but wasn’t there for a nicely decorated room! Very clean room, comfortable mattress and only a couple of minutes walk from Rijksmuseum and Leidseplein which holds many restaurants and shops. Close to tram and bus stops so very convenient if you don’t like to walk far and to get to and from the airport (we saved around 40€ by using public transport rather than official transfers). Overall great trip and would definitely stay if we were to come back to Amsterdam!
