The tulip has been introduced in the Netherlands in the middle of 16th century from the Ottoman Empire. Until today, this flower remains the Dutch favorite, one of the symbols of the country. A small private museum just across the bridge from the Anne Frank House, shows the history of the Dutch fascination with the tulip and sells in its shop various bulbs of the most beautiful existing flowers.

Small, well done museum. There is a store inside that sells tulips. The cashier/ticket lady that was there was extremely nice and helpful and willing to talk about her love for tulips and Amsterdam, and spoke perfect English. The museum is small but very nice. It tells you about the suprising origin of tulips, their role in history and how there are cultivated today in small, easy to understand texts on the wall in English. It is full of beautiful pictures of tulips. Very good experience. 5 stars.

One of my favourite museums in Amsterdam! Tulips have become a symbol of the Netherlands and it was very interesting to see the history behind that. Definitely recommend

Really humble and cosy museum. The staff are friendly and the museum is really detailed and nice. The tulips look really nice and you can even buy your own. Definitely should come here.

Stop in to the Tulip Museum! Honestly, this was the cutest find in Amsterdam and I bought so many souvenirs for myself and friends from here!! I love floral and flowers, so I am biased, but go here and see some color and learn some interesting history!

The flower park has 32 hectares of flowers. There are also spectacular flower shows, surprising inspirational gardens, unique artworks and wonderful events. Wanna know everything about the Dutch tulips? Visit the Tulpomania exhibition in the Juliana Pavilion in the park.
