The Amstelpark is a park in Amsterdam-Zuid. The park includes a labyrinth, a café, a restaurant, two galleries, an orangery, a petting zoo and a mini-golf course. The Amstelpark was built and opened for the 1972 Floriade gardening exhibition. The park has its own train line, the Amstel train, which runs through the Rosarium, the rhododendron valley and the Riekermolen.

This was not the right fit for us. If you have small children who want activity this would be terrific. There are animals to keep them occupied and space for them to blow off some energy. Just wasn't a good fit for us. Having said that - it was clean, easy to get to and not horribly expensive.

Nice quiet park by the river. They have a few buildings, a lake, nicely cut plants, some playing/climbing things for children.

Nice and relaxing park. Not too crowded. Various different sections with plants and even some animals. Rhododendrons are awesome when blooming. I loved running there. If you are tired by the buzz of the city centre, this park can give some zen-like balance.

Very unique and interesting park. Every section has something different to see. They even have some wallabies! Could spend many hours here exploring. Would recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Love the place. They made it to be attractive on any season. So feel free to take a walk at closest convenience.
