I enjoyed staying at this hotel. I found it being a boat on the water unique and being able to access the lettering on the roof. The rooms and general decor definitely are requiring an update as it is very dated. However the beds were still comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel for wheelchair bound persons. The views are great, I often saw swans and ducks from my window which was lovely. The boat barely rocks which is comforting. It is in nice proximity to the heart of Amsterdam, requiring just a 15 min free ferry ride, which also includes nice views. I would recommend the Amstel Botel.

Botel is the most perfect place! And actually cost this money. Staff was friendly and polite. We haven't seen other guests and even haven't heard anything at night. We checked in about 1 pm, because the room was ready. The bed was soft, warm and comfortable. We could regulate the heater. Wonderful view to the night city, especially with moon! And also we could feed the birds from the window! We had fun there! Easy to reach from the Central station. Highly recommend to visit this place! You won't regret!

Nice and new type of hotel. Rooms leave a lot to be desired but overall it is a nice place to stay. Ferried every 30 mins (earliest being at 7.30 am & last one at 11.30pm) so plan your travel accordingly.

It's okay is the headline. The rooms are dated and worn but clean. The bathroom is tiny and the shower is more like a tap ie no shower head. The rooms on the side of the entrance (starboard side) are really quiet, however the rooms on the other side are noisy. I would stop here again as it's a place to sleep, but it's not somewhere I'd bring my family.

Great location. It was easy to get to and from via the ferry from the city centre. Clean accommodation and staff were very friendly and helpful.
