The town is generally laid back and the hotel is really backward ( 2 star+ in my opinion) Just be careful. The guides and priest around Brahma temple looks very kind and humble. There are priest who ask you to perform rituals for good luck and prosperity without mention of donation. They do not ask for tip but to donate as per your comfort level. The pricing : INR 2100 - To feed the poor for 1 day. However, before you know it they will get you to commit for minimally 3 days. If possible avoid this and go to counter and make donation of an amount you are comfortable. If you want to do the ritual make sure you agree on amount beforehand or make donation and then do the ritual.

Perfect hotel for true travellers, great stay, super neat and clean rooms as well as the whole hotel. Though it seemed a bit pricey, the view and quality made it all worth it. The restaurant has the most perfect view of the Lake and Temple. But the star of the show was the nightlife, it's proximity to the ghats meant that we never really had to go by road, we could just walk through the ghats to reach the main temple. One of the best hotels you'll find in Rajasthan.

I liked the hotel and it was clean. The ceilings have some nice painted floral designs. I was in room 312. It was a single room with a double bed. It was small but comfortable. There was plenty of hot water but it was weird how there was a gap between the bath tub and the wall which meant water went underneath. But there was a drain to collect the water. I had breakfast included and there was a lot of choice. The hotel has amazing views of the lake. You can see the sunset over the lake. The staff are very helpful. I had a massage. They dont have a running spa but a room which they use for massages. I thought the masseuse was really good putting in the right amount of pressure I wanted. The cost was 1800 for 1 hour. The massage bed was really uncomfortable as there was no hole for your face. I will definitely come back.

Very good Heritage Hotel just on the side of Pushkar Lake. Rooms are lake facing but the garden is between the rooms and lake. Very beautiful gallery area for sitting and relaxing. Traditional rajasthani dressing and welcome of Guests at the reception.
