Akbari Fort & Museum is a museum In Ajmer. It was once the residence of Prince Sal?m, the son of the Emperor Akbar, and presently houses a collection of Mughal and Rajput armour and sculpture. Construction of this had been commissioned by Akbar in 1570.

Akbar son's Salim use this place for residence purpose when he use to come ajmer later on govt acquire this historic place and made it a museum lots of armory,modern guns are displayed here if u come to ajmer must visit this meuseum, it is near naya bazar where u can reach easily

A good museum having ancient sculptures, tanks, guns, soldier equipments and many more. A beautiful and a wide area. But some staffs are rude. Lack of water points.
